O ucraniano Volodymyr Zagorodny, da equipe NGC Medical, venceu a prova contra-relógio disputada entre Arco e Riva del Garda, do Giro de Trentino. A primeira etapa da prova foi disputada hoje, 22 de abril, na Itália.
O trecho de hoje tinha 9,7 km, que foram percorridos em 11min08s pelo ciclista ucraniano. O esloveno Jure Golcer (LPR) chegou dois segundos atrás de Zagorodny e o croata Vladimir Miholjevic (Liquigas) alcançou a linha de chegada deis segundos atrás do vencedor da etapa.
Entre os favoritos, os italianos Paolo Savoldelli (LPR) terminou a prova como o 20º colocado, com tempo de 11min30s, e o recém-absolvido da acusação de doping, Danilo Di Luca (LPR), chegou em 95º, 54 segundos depois de Zagorodny.
A segunda etapa, com 178 quilômetros, será disputada amanhã entre Torbole Sul Garda e Torri del Bena. O Giro de Tretino vai até sexta-feira, 25 de abril.
