Neste sábado (14), Curitiba passará a ter uma ciclorrota sinalizada. São 6,2 km de vias compartilhadas por carros e bicicletas, com velocidade máxima permitida de 30 km/h. O trajeto começa no portão da Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná (PUCPR), no bairro Prado Velho, e termina na Avenida Comendador Franco (Avenida das Torres).
Para identificar a ciclorrota, a prefeitura colocou placas amarelas e pintou parte do trajeto com 47 círculos azuis de 2,5 diâmetro preenchidos pelo desenho de uma bicicleta no centro. Essa realização faz parte do Plano Cicloviário, que já implantou mais de 70 km de ciclofaixas pela cidade, como, por exemplo, a Via Calma (de 6,3 km).
O prefeito da capital paranaense, Gustavo Fruet, confirmou sua presença na inauguração neste sábado, às 15 horas. Ele e mais um grupo de ciclistas farão parte do percursos de bicicleta, entre o bairro Água Verde e a PUC.
