Ciclista mostra desgaste das pernas depois de duas semanas no Tour

Uma foto publicada pelo ciclista polonês Pawel Poljanski mostra o esforço extremo a que os atletas são submetidos durante o Tour de France. Ele divulgou uma imagem do desgaste das pernas logo depois de completar a 16ª etapa, realizada nesta terça-feira, e após um dia de descanso.

Na imagem, é possível ver o desgaste das pernas de Poljanski ainda com a semana final do Tour de France a ser disputada: veias inchadas e o marcas na pele de 16 dias pedalando horas sem parar. Na comparação com suas pernas antes da Volta da França, a imagem fica ainda mais chocante.

Quando Poljanski tirou a foto, ele já acumulava mais de 70 horas em cima da bicicleta na principal competição de ciclismo do mundo. O Tour de France se encerra no domingo, quando os ciclistas completam 3.540km de disputa.
