Jarlinson Pantano (IAM Cycling) conquistou neste domingo (17) a vitória na 15ª etapa do 103º Tour de France, disputada em 160 km entre Bourg-en-Bresse e Culoz. Foi a primeira vitória na Grande Volta francesa do colombiano, que na chegada bateu o polonês Rafal Majka (Tinkoff), com quem seguiu escapado desde a descida da última montanha da etapa, a Lacets du Grand Colombier, a menos de 10 km da meta. Ambos completaram o percurso em 4h24min29. O francês Alexis Vuillermoz (Ag2r-La Mondiale) e o suíço Sébastien Reichenbach (FDJ) chegaram 6seg depois, conquistando a terceira e quarta colocações, respectivamente.
Foi uma etapa cheia de fugas no decorrer de todo o trajeto, compondo grupos de escapados e perseguidores, além do pelotão do líder Chris Froome (Sky), que com ajuda de sua forte equipe conseguiu manter o controle sobre seus rivais e o topo na classificação geral. O britânico continua a vestir a camisa amarela nesta segunda-feira (18), na disputa da 16ª etapa, com 209 km entre Moirans-en-Montagne e Berne. Depois de uma dura jornada pelos Alpes, o pelotão encara uma etapa relativamente plana, que precede o segundo e último dia de descanso dos competidores, antes da semana que definirá o camepão do 103º Tour de France.
